BLACK or RED RASPBERRY DUMPLINGS
1 quart fresh or frozen black OR red raspeberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 cups prepared baking mix (like bisquick or Jiffy mix)
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar( optional for glaze)

In a 6 qt pan, combine raspberries, sugar, water and cornstarch.  Stir to blend.  Bring to a boil, stirring often.  Turn hear to low.  Meanwhile, combine baking mix, milk and sugar, mixing until soft dough forms.  Drop by spoonfuls onto boiling berries.  Cook over low heat, uncovered, 10 minutes more, or until dumplings are cooked through.  For glazed effect, sprinkle dumplings with additional sugar and a dash of nutmeg before serving.   Delicious served with whipped  topping or vanilla ice cream...Try it, you will like it.  quick and easy.

LAVENDER SHAKE
2 EGGS
2 CUPS MILK
1/4 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
1/3 CUP BLUEBERRIES, FRESH OR FROZEN
BLEND ALL INGREDIENTS IN A BLENDER UNTIL SMOOTH.  SERVE IN A TALL GLASS.   TOP WITH WHIPPED CREAM, MINT SPRIGS OR ACTUAL BLUEBERRIES.  IRRIESTIBLE FOR SHAKE LOVERS...MM.M...MMMM
